Neighborhood and Community Resource Centers Network

Neighborhood and Community Resource centers

Neighborhood and Community Resource Centers Partnership Network

Neighborhood and Community Resource Centers (N&CRCs) are community-managed facilities that coordinate resource distribution and services before, during, and after natural disasters or emergencies. The N&CRCs network consists of local businesses, community-based organizations (CBOs), and faith-based organizations (FBOs) working together to deliver emergency services as either Neighborhood Resource Centers (NRCs) or Community Resource Centers (CRCs) during a disaster or emergency.

Roles and Capabilities:

  • Neighborhood Resource Centers (NRCs): NRCs provide temporary emergency services (48-72 hours) to individuals and families within a five-mile radius. Available resources include, but are not limited to, food, water, shelter, soup kitchens, and warming centers.

  • Community Resource Centers (CRCs): CRCs offer short-term emergency relief services (15-30 days).  Available resources include, but are not limited to, food, water, clothing, fuel, transportation, temporary housing, public health and social services, medication, and hardware.

These centers play a vital role in ensuring communities have access to essential resources during times of crisis.

Call to Action: We encourage community members, local businesses, and organizations to collaborate with N&CRCs to strengthen our collective response efforts. Together, we can ensure that everyone has the support they need in times of emergency. Get involved today to make a difference in our community!
