Neighborhood and Community Resource Centers (N&CRCs) are community-managed facilities that coordinate resource distribution and services before, during, and after natural disasters or emergencies. The N&CRCs network consists of local businesses, community-based organizations (CBOs), and faith-based organizations (FBOs) working together to deliver emergency services as either Neighborhood Resource Centers (NRCs) or Community Resource Centers (CRCs) during a disaster or emergency.
Roles and Capabilities:
These centers play a vital role in ensuring communities have access to essential resources during times of crisis.
Call to Action: We encourage community members, local businesses, and organizations to collaborate with N&CRCs to strengthen our collective response efforts. Together, we can ensure that everyone has the support they need in times of emergency. Get involved today to make a difference in our community!

The Community Partnership Grant (CPG) program is the main discretionary grant initiative offered by the Office of the County Executive to qualified nonprofit organizations based upon a set of criteria, including the value added to the identified community, overall program costs, organizational stability, and adequacy of other funding sources. The County Executive’s FY 2026 approved budget contains approximately $1.5 million for competitive grants to 501(c)(3) tax-exempt nonprofit organizations based in or providing services in Prince George’s County.
Prince George's County awards public funding to churches and faith-based organizations that serve the community through activities like food banks, donations, job fairs, and more. The County accepts applications from churches and faith-based organizations with a separate 501(c)(3) status from the religious entity so that proper financial and programmatic management is distinct and transparent. All County funding is subject to auditing to ensure public funds are used responsibly. Thank you to the churches and faith-based organizations that serve the Prince George's County community.
Any organization, institution, or association that is incorporated as a non-profit organization designated under 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code that provides services or activities in Prince George’s County, and that can supply sufficient documentation their organization is currently in “good standing” from the State where the organization was incorporated (i.e., the State of Maryland, District of Columbia or the Commonwealth of Virginia), is eligible to apply.
